Winter ride to Vegas via Death Valley

Bike

I should mention that I enjoy riding Vrod a lot. It is quite fast and smooth ride, powerfull at the same time, still not using its full power but riding high speeds with a lot of wind in my face which I enjoy. Silver colour is easy to mantain even at such ocasions like Harley Davidson clean bike punctuality. Those bikes were run for UGLY racing teams and still can do a lot of comfort riding. I have the honour to ride motorcycle of Harley Davidson Glendale dealer, the homeland of Love Ride.

Dealership

Dealership is run by Oliver Shokouh, president of Love Ride Foundation and his manager Daniel. It has a long tradition and is prepared to rent a motorcycle Harley Davidson for European visitors as well at reasonable price. Use promo code: Radek´s HD Travellers .

Ride No 11 Radek´s Winter Challenge Harley Cup 2019

After rainy days I decided to take two days ride to Vegas via Death Valley and back via Route 66. 1001 km . Since the weather conditions were severe and my riding gear/clothing was for summer use it was a bit of challenging ride. I started to ride 3.30, freezing nearly falling off motorcycle after 100 miles, it was still under 30 degrees of Fahreinhait/0 Celsius, water by the route was still ice. Break at the gas station was quite helpful and I could continue. Took pictures of trains at Mojave and another brake and got to Death Valley around noon time. Weather there was not freezing anymore but took only one hour to pass it and went back to the mountain passes when approached Las Vegas. Got to USA Hostel at 1322 Fremont Street at 5 PM. Paid 15usd for accommodation and did not use swimming pool since the weather was the whole day under 8 degrees of Celsius which is about 40 Fahrenheit. Entertainment at Freemont experience is Las Vegas style, 3 live music stages, casinos, stores, girls ready to take photo with you, Heart Attack Buffet and others. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Girl receptionist asked me if all was allright in the morning, I replied Just water in the pool could be warmer, other than that all was perfect. Not sure she understood the joke, hopefully yes. I went back next day , started to travel at 8 AM and took Route 66 from Barstow to San Bernardino, again wonderfull experience of the mother route and arrived to Check Point D at 4.30PM with sun going down. No rain on the way but still cold. Because I founded this traveling quite a challenge ride for myself if you wish you can try it as well.
