Ride No 4
Sunday morning I participate in Hiking trip in Santa Monica neighbourhood. Internations consul was happy person and I enjoyed walking on the beach and visit of famous Golden Bull restaurant , running stairs which people use for exercising and socializing with fellow runners and the whole neigbourhood was the oldest one here.
In the afternoon I went again along the coast to see the Neptune´s Net, place filled up with bikers and families. This is the favourite spots of many Harley bikers and the ride along the coast was one of the top ones I had in my life. One side of the road is with ocean and another side with Santa Monica Mountains. And cozy restauranst with music, piers and beaches, Malibu is wonderfull resort for your vacation ride. Route No. 1. When passed Neptune´s net on the right side there was a road just up in the mountain and wonderfull views of ocean and deep mountain valleys reminded me of my ride in Himalayas. I made a short video here as well. Picture below was taken on weekdays in the afternoon but weekends are quite crazy here. What I enjoyed as well that place serve not only bikers but also families with kids and other visitors so it gets quite busy.
For over half a century, Neptune's Net has been a special part of history. In 1956, NASA astronaut, Eastman Jacobs, retired and started the restaurant across beautiful County line beach in Malibu, California. The original building has not changed and is currently the site of the "restaurant side."
